Kanye and LMFAO beef over Love Lockdown

A few months ago after Kayne release Love Lockdown, LMFAO, whose video "I'm In Miami Trick" I threw up on the site yesterday, did an electro remix of the song and put down some lyrics. Check out the song...

I like LMFAO, I think they're silly, purposefully irreverent, and highly danceable. Well, apparently according to a video that went up on World Star today Kanye didn't so much agree. Craziest part was kayne telling them that he understands why Prince doesn't like people remixing his songs, and that it was as if LMFAO went to his mother's funeral while he was singing a song and remixed it. The Louis Vuitton Don's New Kicks

Those of you that know me know that I SWEAT white kicks. I own like two pairs of non-white sneakers and one is a pair of basic black Chuck Taylors. So when I peeped these new Kayne West designed Louis Vuitton boating inspired shoes I started crying from the perfection (not really... okay well maybe a little bit).

Kanye West Love Lockdown Video

Kanye West premiered his new video for "Love Lockdown" on Ellen (que hetero-queer!) and watching it pretty much made my head explode.

There was so much going on in this video Kanye is on some other shit. The video references American Psycho (the apartment is pretty much a replica of Patrick Batement's minus the Les Mis poster and you know blood), Coming to America (which is kind of old news since Busta did that in his Dangerous video), there are also some random ass spaceships or something ("Satillite of Love"?).

I'm confused, but obviously not as much as Ellen. Ellen looked like a baby deer in the forest after that clip. Craziness.

Kanye West "Love Lockdown" Studio Version

Thankfully, the studio version of "Love Lockdown," which Kanye performed at the VMA has auto-tune via the t-pain machine. Kanye put the studio version on his blog and you can access it here. But what's good with the hook? On the VMA's he damn near screamed the hook and dispite it being off tune it was still powerful, on the studio version it gets lost in the beat. Although the heartbeat backbeat is great. What do you all think? Hit or miss?
